Hi there, just wanted to point out that with all the news about CFLs (compact fluorescent light bulbs) we should be careful of how these are disposed of.
CFLs do contain small amounts of mercury and should be taken to local hazardous waste facilities, or at the very least wrapped in a plastic bag before being thrown in the garbage. Please get the word out.
Learn more about CFLs, as well as how to handle them properly, in the book Green Lighting, co-written by TDG web editor Brian Clark Howard.
